Wired Wax Foundation (Medium, No Hook)

Wax sheets of Crimped Wired Foundation made by Dadant & Sons Inc. 9 vertical crimped steel wires create strength to support perfectly milled cells deep exact walls. 

We recommend adding cross wires in deep frames. Foundation is 5 5/8 inches x 16 3/4 inches to fit 6 1/4 frames. Approximately 11 sheets per pound. Using wedge top bar and grooved or slotted bottom bar is recommended.

Shipping Alert

Wax foundation will freeze and crack, crumble or otherwise be damaged if shipped below 5 C. It is W&H's preference to not ship below this temperature. Only if specifically instructed will this item be shipped during periods when freezing is possible. The buyer will assume all risks and no returns will be accepted due to damaged wax foundation.
