Winter is coming…..

Do you feel overwhelmed with the thought of getting your hives ready for winter? What can you do now to give your bees the best chance at winter survival? 

Join us for a Fall / Winter workshop to discuss topics such as…

• Why now is the ideal time to start preparing your bees for winter. 
• Mite treatment – what is available and how to use it
• Fall feeding and nutrition - When, what and how?
• Wrapping your hives – what to consider when choosing a wrapping method.

There will be a question and answer period so come armed with all your questions.

Come spend the day with us. Coffee, snacks and light lunch are included. This is an in person class only, no online option.

Bring your protective equipment, we will be spending the last hour in the apiary (weather permitting)

All workshops are non-refundable 

 This course will be held at the Worker and Hive education hub Unit 102 4215 72 Ave SE Calgary T2C 3G5.
