It provides an economical way to quickly deliver large amounts of feed directly into the hive. When paired with Pro-Western 2.5-gallon pail, it fits inside a regular deep hive body.

For best results, ensure the pail is completely full before tipping it upside down on the hive to prevent air pockets and encourage a proper vacuum to form. Some leaking can occur, make sure this style of feeding is suitable for your beekeeping experience.
