Field Day - Hands-On Beekeeping Workshop

Join us for a practical morning in the apiary and learn essential seasonal beekeeping techniques from experienced beekeepers. Whether you're managing your first hive or have years of experience, our Field Days are a great opportunity to build your skills, watch live demonstrations, and ask questions in a real working apiary.

Each Field Day features a different seasonal topic, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge throughout the beekeeping season. As conditions change, we'll focus on the techniques and management practices that matter most at that time of year.

Pulling Honey Supers & Preparing for Harvest

During this session, you'll learn:

• When honey supers are ready to be removed

• How to evaluate honey frames for harvest

• Best practices for pulling honey supers

• Tips for minimizing robbing during harvest

• Preparing your colonies after removing honey

This interactive session focuses on practical, hands-on learning. You'll watch live demonstrations, discuss real beekeeping scenarios, and leave with techniques you can apply immediately in your own apiary.
