Uses

For Colony Splits and Queen Introduction: Place the double screened board between two hive boxes to separate colonies while maintaining shared warmth without pheromone exchange. Ensure the original queen is in bottom box and plenty of bees and brood is in the top box. Position the entrances so that the bottom box has a top entrance and the top box has a bottom entrance facing the rear. The field bees from the top will return to the bottom box, leaving young nurse bees eager to accept a new queen.

For Swarm Control: Helps manage strong colonies by temporarily dividing hive populations until honey flow, when they can be reunited.
